• “It takes a village” to make a school as special and welcoming as East, so thanks go to Mr. Dave for again providing the beautiful fall mums, to Mrs. Carman for maintaining the spectacular flowers arrangements along the front of the building, and to Ms. Van Camp, along with Zane Van Camp and Skylar Mazeroski, for painting the Huskies paw prints along the sidewalk.

• The student body enjoyed a visit from the Harrison Central Marching Band this week. Students were able to listen to portions of songs played during this year’s halftime show as well as being treated to various instrument solos so the 5th and 6th grade students could decide on their instrument of choice.

• As Harrison East begins its last year, Ms. Birney and Mr. Madzia thought it would be fitting to provide luggage for the staff and their final Hopedale road trip.

• New preschool aide, Tracy Cunningham, joins East from Harrison Central. Tracy lives in Cadiz and enjoys spending time with family and keeping up with her 2 daughters, Lexi and Sophie.
