• EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS

Get physical, connect, improve your mood, create

Studies indicate that being around water, trees, and sky boosts positive emotions. The 4th grade explored the outdoors and created nature mandalas. Students then gave it a title and considered its unique theme. Lastly, we returned to the classroom and wrote Haikus about the mandalas. Students agreed that this activity did improve their moods as they connected with nature.
