• Congratulations to our bowling teams on a great season and Trevor Thompson and Aleyna Runevitch on advancing as individuals to the state tournament. 

• Mrs. Snider attended the Family Children First Board meeting where pooling of funding between agencies was discussed. 

• Collaboration with faculty on professional development 

• Mr. Morgan collaborated within special education staff on student service delivery.

• Mrs. Clements attended a work session at OMERESA concerning the State’s Redesign software.

• OMERESA is working with the treasurer to confirm inventory reports and uploading of the updated file from Industrial Appraisal.

• Mrs. Harding completed the required section for the Clearinghouse Report concerning the FY19 State Audit. The audit has been submitted to Columbus for final review before officially being released.

• Mrs. Harding attended the Local Treasurer’s monthly meeting in St. Clairsville. Topic of discussion: Sunshine Law; Title I; FMLA; Redesign Program/Conversion

• Demolition at the old high school is complete and final grading will begin soon. Demolition at Harrison East is nearing completion and work on hauling ruble out will continue and then final grading will begin. Demolition on Harrison North has begun and will continue for the next couple of weeks, along with haul out of debris. Track and Field fieldhouse is near completion and will have final inspections in the next couple of weeks.

• Congratulations to the Wrestling Team on defeating Edison in a dual match!

• Congratulations to Aleyna Runevitch on finishing Runner-up at the District Bowling Tournament and qualifying for the State Tournament! Good luck at States!!

• Congratulations to Trevor Thompson on winning his 2nd District Bowling Tournament title and qualifying for the State Tournament! Good luck at States!!

• A night view of our new track facility! Our first home meet with be April 7th. at 4:30.

• Girls’ Bowling Team was recognized at halftime of the Boy’s Basketball game for winning an OVAC Championship this season. 

• Golf Team was recognized at halftime of the Boy’s Baskball game for winning an OVAC Championship.

Harrison Central Elementary

• Mrs. LuAnn’s preschool students have counting and cutting hearts during February. 

• Third grade welcomed Cadiz optometrist, Dr. Jill Baker, as she gave an informative presentation on REALEYES. 

• Kindergarten 21st Century students take their mark on the new track as they prepare to walk a mile.

• Students enjoyed shopping and spending their Husky Bucks this week! 

• Mrs. T Starr’s 6th grade 21st Century Enrichment students wrote children’s books that taught a lesson, planned a short lesson or activity to do with the students, and went into various classrooms in grades PreK-5th and read their books and presented their lessons. The 6th grade students really enjoyed the activity!
