On Sunday, November 17, the junior high and high school gameday competition teams traveled to Upper Arlington High School to compete in the OHSCCA Best in The State gameday competition. The junior high placed 10th and the high school placed 6th.

Bowling Opens at East Liverpool

   
 

 
    The bowling team traveled to East Liverpool on Wednesday, November 20 to open their season. The boys fell with a score of 2252-2012. High games were: Kobie Hennis 218 and 211, Kyle Bake 174 and 172, Wyatt Durbin 169, and LJ Mitchell 167. The girls were defeated 2061-1670. High games were: Angel Utter 215 and 162, Sophie Bland 162, TyLynn Smith 156, and Tayla Thompson 140.    
   

Academic Challenge Defeats St. Clairsville

   
 

 
    The Academic Challenge team traveled to St. Clairsville on Thursday, November 21. They had their first win of the season, beating St. Clairsville 2-1.    
   

7 Mindsets

   
 

 
    The eighth grade is learning about the 7 Mindsets that lead to success in life during social studies class. They had a coloring contest, with 11 entries. Trenton Blawut had the winning picture. Congratulations to everyone who participated!    
   

Positive Behavior

   
 

 
    Congratulations to the following students for their positive behavior; Braison Welch and Michael Smith, and Jax Phillipson for integrity.

The Leaf Thief

   
    Mrs. Doty’s second grade class enjoyed a presentation by Mrs. Carman’s fourth grade class. The fourth grade students presented the book, The Leaf Thief.    
 

 
   

Gobble, Gobble!

   
    What’s that red thing on a turkey called? That was Mrs. Agostini’s 4th grade’s Mystery Science question this week. 4th graders constructed a “dancing turkey” to wrap up their learning.
