Football Versus Edison

   
 

 
   

On October 18, our high school football team traveled to Edison. Unfortunately, the team was defeated with a final score of 35-12. Jacob Quito had a 15 yard touchdown in the second quarter, giving us our first six points, and Brady Hyre took a pick-6 to the end zone in the 3rd quarter for the second touchdown.

Cross Country Districts

   
 

 
   

On Saturday, October 19, the cross country team participated in the District Championship. Due to many injuries, they only took one girl and two boys. Unfortunately, none of them moved forward.

Music Department Fall Concert

   
   
   

On Sunday, October 20, the music department held their annual fall concert. The jazz band invited an alumni on stage to perform with them. Bella Voce, Bel Canto, 7th grade band, Marching band, and Select Choir all performed as well.

8th Grade Writing Mock Trial

   
 

 
    The 8th grade writing classes have been reading Animal Farm. The students conducted a mock trial, where they took time to learn about the legal process while gathering evidence to support their claims.

4th Grade Field Trip

   
    4th grade took an educational field trip to Zitko Farm and learned so much about the farm, land, and animals!    
 

 
   

MOOOOVE over 4th Grade!

   
    Fourth grade adopted a cow as part of the Discovery Dairy program. The cow that they adopted is named Peony and she lives on a farm at Sugar Creek. In the mail they got a stuffed cow to represent Peony. This is a picture of them opening their mail and getting to “meet” their new friend!    
 

 
   

Bus Safety

   
    Our students got to learn about bus safety this week. They learned the importance of bus expectations and staying safe while riding the school bus!    
 

 
   

Native American Projects

   
    Mr. Bengier’s 4th grade Social Studies class has been learning about the Native Americans and how they lived. For their project each student created a Native American civilization.    
 

 
   

Preschool Fun!!

   
    Preschool enjoyed fun fall days this past week! They played outside, learned about bus safety, and even got to trick or treat!

    Mrs. Toward’s first grade class got to celebrate all things pumpkins! They learned about the parts of the pumpkins, made some pumpkin crafts, and finished the day with pumpkin treats!    
 

 
   

All About Bones!

   
    Mrs. Agostini’s 4th graders did a science lesson on Mystery Science and made an X-ray of their hands.    
 

 
   

Story Time

   
    Preschool students received tokens for the book vending machine and got to pick out some awesome new books!    
 

 
   

AR Goals

   
    Makenzie Dingess reached her AR goal of 25 pts. She’s read 53 books and 20, 672 words so far this year. Good Job!    
 

 
   

Positive Shoutouts

   
    Brihtyn Ash and Corbhyn Coen both received a shoutout for following the Husky Way! Keep up the good work!
