The bowling team both JV and Varsity had games on Monday the scores are as follows:

Varsity Boys won 1871-1596
High Games: Kobie hennis:231-216, Drew Culbertson:169, Aiden Pettit:167

Varsity Girls lost 1557-1435
 High Games: Tylynn Smith:194-145,  Sophie Bland:172

JV Boys lost 1162-937
High Games: Xavier Kolinski:135

Girls’ Basketball falls short to Creek

   
 

 
   

On Monday, December 2, the girls’ basketball team traveled to Indian Creek, the varsity lost 56-19 Lauren Doane had seven points, Mikalya Pelegreen had five points, Bailey Smith had three points, Kennedy Dunlap had two, and Maddie Sedgmer had one point. The JV came up short with a score of 13-10 in two quarters.

Bowling v. East Liverpool

   
 

 
   

On Tuesday, December 3, The Bowling team hosted East Liverpool. The boys’ lost 1936-1752. Kobie Hennis played 191-164, Drew Culbertson with 172, and Kyle Blake with 162. The girls’ also lost 1943-1681. Tylynn Smith played 164, Sophie Bland played 149, Jaylie Byers played 163, and Tayla Thompson played 142-163.

Huskies Lose to the Jets

   
 

 
   

On Tuesday, December 2, the Huskies invited the Union Local Jets home to play their first regular season game. Unfortunately, the Huskies fell short with a final score of 50-67 Jets.

Girls’ Basketball Against Beaver Local

   
 

 
   

On Wednesday, December 4, the girls’ basketball team played beaver local at home. The Junior Varsity team won with a score of 22-17 in two quarters. The Varsity team also won with a score of 49-36.

Academic Challenge Team in Action

   
 

 
   

The Academic Challenge team had a rough loss to Carrollton on Tuesday, December 3rd. The JV team was victorious with a score of 2-1. For the season Varsity is now 1-2 and JV is 1-1. Their next match is December 12th at home against Toronto.

Junior High Basketball at Martins Ferry

   
 

 
   

On Wednesday the junior high basketball team went to Martins Ferry. The 7th grade team won their game with a score of 27-21.The 8th grade team was defeated with a score of 39-19.

Wrestling Opens at Wayne Invitational Tournament

   
 

 
    Harrison Central finished in 6th place at the Smithville Tournament Knox McKibben (215) and Landen Thomas (285) both finished as tournament champions.

Thanksgiving Feasts!

   
    Mrs. Steele and her 5th grade students were joined by Ms. Sedgmer and are shown proudly sharing in their Thanksgiving meal that they prepared and served. As part of the lesson, each student wrote a paragraph highlighting what they are grateful for.    
 

 
    Some of our preschoolers celebrated Friendsgiving, complete with turkey and all the trimmings. What a fun and yummy time!    
 

 
    We are so thankful for our students, faculty, staff, and community this holiday season! We hope that everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break!    
 

 
   

Book Machine

   
    Some of our students showed the Huskies Way and got the opportunity to receive a book from the book vending machine! Mrs. Solomon was trying to sneak one of her favorite books out of there too!    
 

 
   

Balloon Parade

   
    Our students had the opportunity to create their own balloon’s like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and show them off around the school during their own parade! What a fun thing to do before break!    
 

 
   

Disguise a Turkey!

   
    Mrs. Turner’s 2nd grade class disguised turkeys to keep them safe from Thanksgiving and had Turkey Centers to have extra fun learning!
