The bowling team traveled to St. Clair Lanes on Friday, January 10 to compete against Buckeye Local. The boys’ team was victorious with a score of 1754-1691. High scores were: Drew Culbertson - 175, Kobie Hennis - 158, and LJ Mitchell - 147. The girls’ team was also victorious with a score of 1663-1650. High scores were: Tayla Thompson - 168-161, Angel Utter - 158, Sophie Bland - 151, and Hayley Willis - 142.

Our varsity bowling teams traveled to St. Clair Lanes on Tuesday, January 14 to participate in the Buckeye 8 Championship. Our girls placed second and our boys placed third in the championship, with Kobie Hennis, Xavier Kolinski, and Tayla Thompson all being named All-Buckeye 8.

The boys’ basketball team hosted Toronto on Tuesday, January 14. Both teams were victorious on the night. The junior varsity won 52-27, while the varsity team won 53-39.

On Wednesday, January 15 the boys’ basketball teams played against Union Local. The 7th grade team was victorious with a score of 20-18. The 8th grade team lost 38-33. Finally, the 9th grade team defeated the Jets with a score of 37-29.

The OVAC Wrestling Tournament took place Thursday, January 16 through Saturday, January 18. The team finished in 8th place in Class 4A. Landen Thomas finished as the 285lb runner-up, and Knox McKibben finished in 5th place at 215lbs.

On Tuesday, January 21, the boys’ basketball team traveled to Edison and came home with a big victory. The junior varsity won 39-33, while the varsity also won with the score of 51-28. Bryson Kamarec led with 19 points and Brady Elliott followed, scoring 18 points, with 8 points in the fourth quarter.
