On Sunday, May 1, the Harrison Central track teams hosted the first-ever Little Huskies Relays, beginning at 2:00PM. Children grades Pre-K-6 were able to participate and join the following events: long jump, soft toss, a 400 meter run, a 200 meter run, a 100 meter run, and a 50 meter run. Each group, organized by grade level, had their jumps and throws measured along with their times and/or if they ran; these were given to them after they were done with their events. For each child's hard work and dedication, they received a gold medal and a picture. Overall, 160 children had taken part in this spectacular event and we, as the Harrison Central track teams, hope that this event will be just as successful next year.
