Super Star Students!
Some incredible students were recognized with Positive Behavior Shoutouts!
Christmas Around the World
Before break, fourth grade writing and reading students researched Christmas traditions in a country of their choice. Then, they wrote an essay about it and presented a slideshow with all of the facts they learned to their teachers and peers! Awesome job!
Happy New Year’s!
Mrs. Harper and her students had a New Year’s Celebration complete with a countdown, balloons, and music!
Indoor Recess Fun
Fourth graders won’t let being inside for recess get them down! Kendra and Everli created a huge structure out of blocks. Even though it fell many times, the girls never gave up and showed amazing persistence!
Decodable Reading and Syllables with Mrs. Knight
Third grade students worked together in groups to find and highlight words with “ar” and “or” in their weekly decodable passage. Students also worked together to build words and explain vowel sounds using syllable types. For an extra challenge, students worked to come up with a single sentence that included as many of their words as possible. Great job!
