Ms. McIntosh’s last period Service Learning class made tie blankets for the children at Akron Children’s Hospital. The students made 25 total blankets in under two weeks: 6 small ones and 19 big ones. They picked out a variety of patterns so the children have many options to choose from. The class has also made dog toys for the local pound, and they will be starting on Christmas cards for local veterans.

On November 5 the Academic challenge team played against carrollton. It was a hard game and a very close one but they won 2-1. The Academic Challenge team is looking for more members, so if you like things like math, science, English or history than i think you would enjoy being on their team. The Academic challenge team goes to other schools to compete by using all of those things.

Harrison has had the trophy for many years and hopefully for many more years to come. The ending score was 49-34 as seniors Ronald Pauley, Bryan Hendershot, Kanyon Coleman, and Kobe Mitchell finished their high school football career. The Huskies had a season record of 5-4.
