This Week with Miss Dale

Students in Miss Dale’s class are learning about matter. As part of their study, they made a liquid rainbow.

Pictured above are Connor, Miss Dale, Abby, and Jaydin showing off their artwork representing the liquid rainbow.

Kicking It with Kindergarten

Kindergarten finger painted silhouettes with Ms. VanCamp in art.

This week in Miss Johnson’s Kindergarten class, students made “T is for Taco” booklets to go along with the letter of the week. Brian Gonzalez and Kenisha Bailey work hard on their handwriting skills, while Sara Wade shows off her completed project!

Fun in First

Mrs. Turner’s class has been working through a pumpkin unit. They read Spookley, made square pumpkins, described pumpkins with adjectives, explored seeds and planted them. Check out all the neat pictures taken during the unit below.

Mrs. Turner and student teacher, Aaron Foldi, also had a paint-n-sip with fall foliage and apple cider. The students enjoyed both greatly! Below are some pictures from that activity.

Soaring in Second

Pictured above is Chase Campbell. He was the first to complete Mrs. Gaffney’s fact master challenge in Mobymax! Way to go, Chase!

Here are Jayce McAfee, Landon Coffman, Wyatt Zeroski, Everli Sall and Ashlee Eikleberry who all earned 100% on their Unit 1 Vocabulary Test in Mrs. McAfee’s room.

Congratulations to Ashlee Eickleberry and Alyvia Bryant from Mrs. McAfee’s room who reached their AR goal of 25 points.

Thriving in Third

Third grade sadly bid farewell to Mrs. Carpenter’s student teacher, Mr. D with a pizza party and cake. Although he will be missed by 3rd grade, he will remain close by as he finishes his student teaching in the 5th grade. His future in teaching is very bright, and we wish him much success as he moves forward in his career.

Third grade Social Studies students paired up to sort cards correctly into the three branches of our federal government.

Fabulous in Fourth

After a long week of test prep and our first chapter test, 4th grade had some Mystery Science fun!

Pictured above, Jensen Harris shows off his stem project for the month of October.

Mrs. Doty and Mrs. Gaffney share some super 2nd grade students who are being recognized for their positive behaviors.
