Football Finishes Season

  
 

 
  

On Friday, November 3, the Harrison Central Huskies hosted the Garfield G-Men, for the second game of playoffs. The Huskies lost a tough fought game against Garfield, falling 56-35. Hayden Cassidy threw 22/36 with four touchdowns and 322 yards. Cameron McAfee had eight catches for 170 Yards and one touchdown. Parker Hutton had 81 yards and two touchdowns. The Huskies end the season with a record of 9-3, and the first playoff win in school history.

Girls’ Basketball First Scrimmage

  
 

 
  

On Saturday, November 4, the Warren Warriors made the long trip from Washington County to scrimmage our Lady Huskies. They played ten quarters, including both varsity and junior varsity. The girls took two wins out of the six total varsity quarters played.

Girls’ Basketball Scrimmages Toronto

  
 

 
  

On Wednesday, November 8, the girls’ basketball team traveled to Toronto to take on the Red Knights for their second scrimmage. The varsity played six quarters with scores of 7-9, 11-9, 9-8, 10-6, 8-6, and 9-6. The junior varsity won 1 of 2 quarters.

Third Grade Superstars

  
  Third grade students were rewarded for their good behavior for the first nine weeks! Students were given a choice of rewards, which included a movie room , a dance party room, a craft room, or a building room!  
 

 
  

Veterans Day Learning!

  
  Mrs. McAfee’s students learned a lot about Veterans Day and what it means. They wrote letters to our veterans and hung them up, colored thank you posters, did a military brain break and exercises, and read about the history of the holiday!  
 

 
  

Seven Mindsets!

  
  Mrs. Agostini has been working hard with her classes on the Seven Mindsets curriculum. Value Splash was their wrap up activity for Seven Mindsets this week. Kenley Welch made an EdWordle of things she values.
