Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to a new and exciting school year at Harrison Central Elementary! As we open our doors for another year of learning and growth, we are thrilled to see familiar faces and warmly welcome new ones to our school community. We are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and inspired to explore their potential.

Let’s make this year a memorable journey filled with achievements, friendships, and joy in learning! As we move closer to starting this journey, I would like to share some important information:

• Parents, please make sure to update all necessary student forms through OneView. OneView can be accessed at this link. If you have any questions, feel free to call the main office at 740-942-7600.
• Initial school supplies for students will be provided by the school district. Supplies will be distributed during the first week of school.
• Thursday, August 14 – Back-to-School Rally at the Stephenson Center Gymnasium/Parking Lot from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Come out and join us for some family fun!
• Friday, August 22 – Open House at the school from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This is a great opportunity to meet the school staff.
• Monday, August 25 – First day of school for students. The school day runs from 7:55 AM to 2:40 PM. Please note that school doors will not open until 7:35 AM.
