Harrison Central seniors are leading a special sustainability effort as part of their Senior Service Learning Project—and they’re inviting the community to join in.

Bring your plastic shopping bags, Ziplock bags, and plastic wrap to the Press Box Concession Stand during the football game on October 17 to support the NexTrex Recycling Challenge.

Their goal is to collect 1,000 pounds of plastic film over the course of the school year, which will be recycled and repurposed into durable composite products. If the goal is met, a composite bench will be donated to the school in memory of Ana Zarkovic.
