Softball Splits with Buckeye Local

  
 

 
  

On Saturday, March 30, the softball team played their first game of the season, against the Buckeye Local Panthers. The junior varsity won with a close score of 13-11. The varsity fell short with a final score of 5-0.

The softball team traveled to Indian Creek on Monday, April 1. The junior varsity was victorious with a score of 6-2. The varsity unfortunately fell with a score of 12-2.

On Monday, April 1, the baseball team hosted Indian Creek for a double header. Unfortunately, the Huskies fell in both games. Game one was 12-2, and game two was 6-2.

Junior High Track Splits with Indian Creek

  
 

 
  

The junior high track team traveled to Edison on Monday, April 1 to run against Indian Creek, in the Edison League. The girls ended up taking the defeat with a score of 66 to 43. The boys went home with a big win, with the score being 66-47.

On Wednesday, April 3, the softball team hosted Indian Creek. Both teams were victorious. The junior varsity team gained a win with a score of 5-3, while the varsity team won 4-3.

On Wednesday, April 3, the varsity track team traveled to Martins Ferry to participate in their Relays. The boys team scored 53 points and got 4th out of 10 teams. The girls team scored 58 points and got 2nd out of 10 teams.

On Thursday, April 4, the baseball team played Steubenville, at home. Unfortunately, the boys lost with a score of 19-10.

  Caity Romshak, 4 H educator for Harrison County did a mini Solar Eclipse lesson with the 4th graders and they built a Camera Obscura to view the eclipse!

  Students in Mrs. Zamski’s class toasted the eclipse by making eclipse toast! What a fun way to learn!
