| | | On Monday, October 9, students in grades 7th-12th listened to a guest speaker. Mr. Dave Roever, a Purple Heart recipient, who served in the U.S. Navy as a Brown Water Beret during the Vietnam War, came to our school to talk about his story. | | | The fourth grade implemented yoga at the beginning of reading class as a way to promote focus and concentration. This week, the students did the Tall Tree pose. They used artificial tree branches as they visualized their favorite trees swaying in the breeze. Then, they imagined a squirrel climbing the tree and rustling the leaves making their branches shiver. | | |
