We believe that there is not just one kind of choir student. So we have designed our choir program to have something for everyone. We have many class offerings and all are constructed with various levels of participation and performance expectations in mind.

Concert Choir: directed by Mrs. Zalenski

A group for all 7th and 8th grade choir members that want to continue their musical development with basic skills training and musical experiences. This group performs 2-3 concerts per year. An audition is not required for this ensemble.

Chorus: directed by Mr. Zalenski

A group for choir members grades 9-12 that want to continue their musical development and want the most out of their choral experience. It offers advanced musical experiences with high performance expectations. This ensemble is for students that are serious about their craft but are not quite ready for the Select Choir. This group performs 3 concerts per year. auditon is not required for admission to this class.

Women's Ensemble: directed by Mrs. Zalenski

A group for all 9-12 grade female choir members that want to develop a firm understanding of ensemble singing with an emphasis upon the specific qualities and intricacies of the female voice. This group performs 3-4 times per year. An audition is not required for this ensemble.

Men's Ensemble: directed by Mrs. Zalenski

A group for all 9-12 grade male choir members that want to develop a firm understanding of ensemble singing with an emphasis upon the specific qualities and intricacies of the male voice. This group performs 3-4 times per year. An audition is not required for this ensemble.

Select Choir: directed by Mrs. Zalenski

A group for choral members in grades 9-12 that want the most from their choral experience and have developed the skills necessary for entry into this ensemble. Select Choir offers the most advanced musical experiences with the highest of performance expectations. This ensemble is for students that are very serious about their craft and want an experience of true musical excellence. This group performs multiple times per year within the school and throughout the community at basketball games, banquets, civic organizations, churches and numerous other events. Audition is required for entry into this ensemble.
